Facilities & Operations
Committed to Quality TTC has manufacturing facilities located in Queretaro, Mexico and Knoxville, Tennessee in the United States. Our Mexican manufacturing plants, which include light-, medium- and heavy-duty operations, are dedicated to the production of transmission parts and assemblies. Our U.S.-based manufacturing operations focus on the production of components such as shift assemblies and clutch-release components. The Knoxville facility also performs all packaging and distribution of service products, as well as in-line sequencing of the transmissions for efficient just-in-time shipments. Engineering support for manufacturing operations exists within every facility, while sales and marketing support comes from our U.S.-based office in Plymouth, Michigan.
With more than 2,000 metric tons of forging capacity, our facilities boast the ability to process a wide variety of major components, including gears, synchronizers, forks, input shafts, main shafts, and countershafts.
Our commitment to quality is demonstrated in our state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, which encompass all key elements from forging through heat treatment, to final machining, including high-speed dry hobbing, top-quality hard turning, and high-precision gear teeth grinding.
Our cell technology and handling systems have streamlined our operations by providing more flexibility, better processes control, unique flow, less in-process inventory, and better performance. Our manufacturing facilities have obtained QS-9000/ISO 9000 certification, in addition to ISO 14000 certification.
