Continuous Product Enhancements
TTC has implemented numerous product enhancements in the light-duty segment within the past few years. Transmissions for passenger-car applications now offer a fully synchronized reverse brake system, higher-capacity synchronizers and end load technology for better structural integrity. In the area of light-truck applications, our products show advancements in shift quality, reduced weight through aluminum casting, and improved NVH characteristics.
High-performance vehicles, especially those equipped for racing, have also benefited from the latest technology with more durable transmissions, flexibility in shift lever location, shift enhancements, the incorporation of sensors and adaptability of the actuation system.
In the heavy-duty segment, TTC offers the all-new line of PRO-SHIFTTM Eighteen Speed transmissions, which is unmatched when it comes to ratio coverage, fuel economy, versatility and reliability. This double overdrive transmission also provides enhanced torque, improved shift quality, and a range section with durable, high-capacity multi-cone synchronization.
