You may submit your requirements using the Application Engineering Form. This form can be accessed from the left navigation menu on the Contact Us page and every TREMEC Products page. Currently, this form applies to light duty applications only. |

The warranty on our transmissions is 90 days from date of purchase for part failures only. |

In order to access the TTC FTP server, an authorized "userid" and "password" is required. Contact your account manager from TTC's sales department who can coordinate it with the FTP server administrator to obtain your "userid" and "password". |

Where can I find instructions on how to download files from the FTP server? |

See below: 1. Open your Internet browser and click on ftp://ftp.ttcautomotive.com. 2. On the top left menu, select "File" and "Login As". 3. A window will pop up. For User Name, fill in "Userid" and for Password, fill in "PW" (now you have the ability to download files). 4. You should see the file "filename". 5. Click once on the file so that it is highlighted. 6. Using the right button on the mouse, click once and select, "Copy To Folder". 7. Select an appropriate folder on your hard drive and click on "OK". NOTE: We will always provide you with instructions on how to download files along with folder and file(s) name(s). |

Where can I find instructions on how to upload files onto the FTP server? |

See below: 1. Open your Internet browser and click on ftp://ftp.ttcautomotive.com. 2. On the top left menu, select "File" and "Login As". 3. A window will pop up. For User Name, fill in "Userid" and for Password, fill in "PW" (now you have the ability to upload files). 4. On the top left menu, select "File" and select "New" and create a folder where you will deposit the new files. 5. Copy the file that you want to upload from your hard drive by using "Edit and Copy" (or Ctrl-C) function. 6. Go back to the FTP server open in your browser and make sure that the folder you have created is open. 7. On the top left menu, select "Edit" and select "Paste". This will upload the file. NOTE: Please send us an e-mail providing us with the folder and file(s) name(s). |

I am installing an aftermarket shifter on my TREMEC. Do you have any suggestions? |

The major problem with aftermarket shifters is that they have stops on them. To install them correctly, you will have to remove the stops completely. Our transmissions are built with internal stops. |
